Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Anna Gunn is an American actress. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her interest in performing on theatre. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. Then she moved to film and television. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she was cast in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood, which was filmed in the mid 2000's. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast set in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few years that were the life of Walter White.
